A big step is required for a secular university student from Europe to attend a Pentecostal church. It is vital that a link between the student and the church be formed - a neutral place on or near the campus where students are comfortable and can invite their friends to hear the Gospel.
Students for Christ is an organization of missionaries, national workers, Pentecostal churches, and student leaders who focus their lives, ministries, and spare time to create a community on the campus of believers with a passion for reaching students for Jesus.
Reaching Europe’s future and building the body of Jesus Christ in Europe is vitally dependent on all of us having a burden for the youth of Europe. Many of these young people know their future lies in further education. We need to meet them where they are with a relevant approach to the ageless message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Campus ministry can be seen as the arm of the church stretched out to colleges and universities of Europe. With its roots firmly planted in the Pentecostal faith, Students for Christ operates as an interdenominational ministry on the campus. A vital community is built on the foundational elements of pentecostal worship, prayer, evangelism, fellowship and discipleship. The goal is to have the local church bless its students and send them out as missionaries to their fellow students, supporting them with prayer, advice, love and finances. At the same time the student organization introduces the new student believers to the local church by example and enthusiasm.
Please contact the SfC Ministry in your country for more information on how to link up and together touch the university in your city with the Gospel.
