Statement of faith
We, Students for Christ, are a ministry composed of students from many churches who have come together to serve God on the universities where we study. We have experienced the reality of God in our lives through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit intervenes and works in His community today just as He did in the early church, We therefore find our closest identity with the community of Pentecostal churches and with the truths stated in the Nicene creed.
It is our desire that every university student has the opportunity to know God, to ask Him to forgive his/her sins through Jesus Christ and to experience whole relationships with Him, with others, and with him/herself.
We, Students for Christ, have four basic principles that define our purpose for being:
We come together to worship God and to discover what His word says to us today.
We come together to find out what it means to be one of His disciples and to practice His teaching in our daily lives.
We come together for fellowship to learn to love and serve each other.
We go to our universities with the desire to share the good news of the love of God with those who don't know Him.
